Woman Drowns in Snowmobile Accident

Police are continuing their investigation into what they believe was a drowning death , that occurred on Cluculz Creek west of Prince George last Saturday night.
 A 53 year local female,  from the Cluculz, Vanderhoof area,  died after the snow machine she was riding on , failed to cross the creek near highway 16.
Police originally were called to the scene,  believing that a vehicle had gone into the creek, but were able to put together the pieces surrounding the death,  in which no vehicle was involved.
The coroner’s office is in charge of the investigation into the death and the name of the victim is being withheld at this time.
