Using that Freedom of Speech argument is pretty weak, and a sad excuse used by neo-nazis, and KKK members. Not exactly the kind of company you'd want to keep.

Besides, you are making a generalization about an entire race of people, which the last time I looked was racist and a form of harassment. By the way, harassment is a punishable offense under human rights laws.

I learned that little tidbit by going to the library.

When you went to the library I hope someone didn't think " you didn't look like the regular type". As was quoted in the news story. I would never make a generalization. Far be it from me. A similar observation along the same lines as the police? Is harrass two words?

Sigh.... it never does take long for the righteous to trot out the nazis and KKK. I can remember when jokes of that nature (and ones involing every nationality on earth) were common. Racism is a serious problem but it doesnt necessarily include every joke where the characters race or origin is included.
That joke targets upper management. It uses an old stereotype but does not say that all natives are that way, or any other way for that matter. Stay out of the library and use some common sense. Also put away your stick with human rights laws written on it. What an absurd way to threaten people into conforming to your own code of ethics!
You want to see racism? Talk to people who are being serious. Dont ask them if they are racist, just talk about every day things. I think you will see that almost all of us make racial generalizations, including natives and every other race. Make sure you include white people in the victim category ( If you think white males are only the perpetrators i have a story or two from my own experiences). A little more open discussion without the threat of prosecution is what this topic needs. A little less knee jerk political correctness wouldnt hurt either.
