Mayor Colin Kinsley congratulates Geoff Paynton for his long volunteer hours

The City of Prince George’s Community Service Coordinator, Geoff Paynton, was honoured at this evening’s council meeting for his many volunteer hours as vice-president of Pacific Sport’s northern branch.

Mayor Colin Kinsley noted at this evening’s council meeting that many city employees do volunteer work with host organizations that contribute to the success of the community.

"But Geoff has stood out, in this particular category and his work with this organization, not only shows his commitment to this city, but also his dedication and commitment to amateur sport," says Kinsley.

Pacific Sport is a not-for-profit organization that coordinates a number of regional sports centre, supports B.C. athletes and coaches and assists in sport development.
