Go Cats Go!: One Man's Opinion

I don’t often comment on hockey or the Cougars or the Spruce Kings because I simply don’t know enough about hockey to be some sort of an expert. I’m a fan, and that is about as far as I can go.

I do however remember when the Cougars were hitting their high points in the Seattle play off series. It was unreal to go to the arena and hear the cheering.
Well… I was cheering at last night’s game because I thought we had a lot of the same atmosphere as we used to have at Cougar games.
Here we are playing the number one ranked team in the Canadian Hockey League, that’s all of Canada, and folks we were right up there with them. Matter of fact, it was down to a shoot out in the first game; we could have easily won had there not been some very bad calls. (When I spot a bad call it has to be bad)
The Cougars went on to win game two, after trailing Everett and in spite of the play by play commentators  suggesting that you can’t beat Everett when you get behind, our boys did just that, and we won 6 to 4..
Wow, was that a fun game, Wow, was that hockey worth watching.
I don’t care who was at the CN Center you got your moneys worth for that game and it shows that, maybe, just maybe, we could be a Cinderella team.
I’m Meisner and that is one man’s opinion.
