There will be a lot of people looking at the cost of that flight into Mexico this winter if the the remaining weeks of summer stay in the current temperature range.
With a high of 17 on Tuesday, 18 on Monday and the highest temperature predicted leading into the weekend of 22, we are not about to see a major run on the sun tan lotion in the Prince George region.
Even lowly old Ft. St. John that we like to take a shot at now and then, will reach a high of 25 on the weekend.
We may have had lots of days where the temperature hit 20 c this summer but thats been the problem. We have barely reached those values which make summer feel much more like a nice April day.
But take heart, over in Alberta they are feeling the weather as well.
In Calgary on Wednesday it will hit a high of 9, Tuesday it was 14. In Red Deer, Wednesday the thermometer will hit 10, even in Saskatoon the high Wednesday and Thursday is predicted to be 15 and 10 respectively.
What can we look forward to? In another few weeks we can expect our first frost for the year.
