West Fraser is doubling the reward it has offered for information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the vandalism to the company's hangar at the Quesnel Airport.
The vandalism occured in early January of this year and involved tampering with the gas in-feed to the building. It was an incident that could have had devastating consequences if the tampering had not been discovered.
Initially, West Fraser offered a reward of $25 thousand, that has now been doubled to $50 thousand. In addition, Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2,000 for information that will assist the RCMP in their investigation.
