A 47 year old Medicine Hat man is in custody as police examine charges, after employees of Inland Kenworth on Quinn St. spotted a suspect they believed had been responsible for between 12 to 14 thefts from mostly trucking companies in the city.
The man was picked up in the Quinn St.  area after employees had received a picture of the suspect from surveillance cameras from other trucking companies.
An unknown male had been entering various trucking companies wearing a uniform that looked like somethin an employee would wear.
He then would befriend the workers and when they left the employees lunch room would steal anything of value from their possessions. The various trucking company employees got together and from the surveillance cameras, printed off a picture. That picture was used as identification today.

Gotcha! And no high speed chase either.

Wonder if the cops will have a problem with the guys that nailed the jerk? Warn the public to not get involved? Let the cops find the guy.

Something we are going to see a lot more of I think, too bad we couldn't untie the hands of the police so they could do their job without all the red paper tape. Not to forget though, the red tape is there to protect we the people who have done nothing wrong.

Way to go employees of those trucking companies, you fought back and won.
