While police say the behavior is not illegal, they are asking young girls to be very careful of whom they might accept a ride.

A 14 year old city girl was heading south on Ruggles St. near 4^th when she was approached by a man driving a newer model beige , 2 door pick up , with a black snowmobile  rack in the box. He is described as about 30, clean shaven, tall  with a medium build and has short brown hair.

He waved at the girl.  The girl thought it was the father of a friend, so she waved back.  The man then turned the vehicle around and  asked the girl if she  wanted to "hang out". She said she did not and he asked her to meet him near the soccer fields near the pool at around 10:30.
