While police say the behavior is not illegal, they are asking young girls to be very careful of whom they might accept a ride.
A 14 year old city girl was heading south on Ruggles St. near 4th when she was approached by a man driving a newer model beige , 2 door pick up , with a black snowmobile  rack in the box. He is described as about 30, clean shaven, tall  with a medium build and has short brown hair.
He waved at the girl.  The girl thought it was the father of a friend, so she waved back.  The man then turned the vehicle around and  asked the girl if she  wanted to "hang out". She said she did not and he asked her to meet him near the soccer fields near the pool at around 10:30.

If you know the identity of the man in the truck , you are asked to contact the Prince George RCMP detachment , or Crime Stoppers.

Did anyone (police)go to the soccer field at 10:30?
Oh my. My biggest fear. I never let my kids go barely around the block unless in a group.(my older kids that is) And to all the young kids out there if your parents dont' mind you walking alone then you should mind for yourself.
