All this crap has been done before with no advice taken or any changes. Government, especially this Laiberal government, don't listen to any advice good or bad, they'll do whatever they want and spin the sessions saying that's what the professionals wanted.
MLA's should get no more than the rest of the public employees...and then only if they are at work each and every day.
And when they retire they loose all their benefits as well.!
They do not NEED more! They are getting more than enough to live very comfortable lives.
So why are they the elite other than the fact that they have created that kind of enviroment for themselves?
Why are they worth so much more than the rest of us?
On the other hand, this so called "independant commission" is a farce! Smoke and mirrors. They WILL get what they want and you and I will have nothing to say about it.Except at election time... but by then it will be too damn late. And they know that too.
You people have short memories. It wasnt that long ago that they were going to get a raise and we raised such a fuss that the Government backed off. We may be able to do it again, if we can give them the facts.

Bitching and Complaining is not considered to be facts, so you will have to do more than that.

I agree that they dont deserve any more money and will tell the commission what I think. See you there.
I also plan on being there Palopu.Hope there is a lot more of us too!
This meeting has been set back to 545pm instead of 4pm. Dont ask me why, because I dont know.
