It’s not the dog in the fight....it’s the fight in the dog.
Pre-game ramble
Will the 0 and 7 hapless Tigercats from Never land rise up out of the ashes and break the bubble of the league’s elite who so far have managed to put it all together this season by remaining unbeatable?
Going into their second meeting of the campaign, the tabbies enter the contest dead last in the CFL with a record of 144 points for and 222 against.
The Lions on the other hand have amassed 226 scoring points [32.29 average per game] second only to Montreal, and have given up a total of 170 points [24.29 per game] good for 3rd. over-all.
For the Ticat “D”, peering over the offensive line at a Dave Dickenson, who’s been living life through a lens these days as the CFL player of the month for July, and since named player of the week for his performance against the Stamps, may be for the Tabbies the likes of facing the prospects of a cranial drill before brain surgery. If he can establish the run and is able to get vertical against the boys from steel town......look out.
Will this again be football madness as the Leos torch the defense of their opposition by running up the score OR is this the one where the unthinkable happens.......
