Wishart Named An All Star

The Prince George Cougars are getting set for their first playoff game ( tonight against Kamloops in Kamloops) and  defenceman Ty Wishart  is  given special attention.

 The Western Hockey League  has announced  the 2006-07 WHL Eastern and Western Conference First and Second All-Star Teams.

Prince George Cougars defenceman Ty Wishart was named to the Second All-Star Team in the WHL Western Conference.
Wishart, an 18-year-old from Comox, B.C., is in his third WHL season with the Cougars, posted a career-high 11 goals and 49 points this season.  He was the San Jose Sharks’ 1st round selection (16th overall) at the 2006 NHL Draft.
