Treaty Vote Moves to Prince Rupert

The ratification vote on the Lheidli T’enneh Treaty continues today, this time in Prince Rupert at the Nisga’a offices.
This is the first of two out of town ballots on the treaty which was initialled last fall.
The second out of town vote will be in Vancouver tomorrow. The ballot boxes return to the Native Friendship Centre in Prince George for two days of balloting at the end of the week .
Vote results are expected to be known late on the 30th.
