Somewhere beyond the line of trees, is the City of Prince George.  Even from the vantage point of University Hill just before noon,  you couldn't see the City because of the heavy snowfall.

For the next couple of days, expect more of the same.  The  forecast for  the last day of March is calling for wet flurries, high of 6

April 1st ( and this is no joke)  light snow and a high of minus 2 .

By the way, according to a release from the Ministry of the Environment, " April 1st  marks the unofficial start of British Columbia's Parks and Camping season" . The release  goes on to say "B.C. Parks and Tourism British Columbia  want everyone to put more parks in their spring and summer plans."

Northern Hardware's Blair Moffat says  there's been no rush  on tent sales.

But there is  some good news, at least it  isn't July!

In PG it's not a question of whether or not the weather will suck but rather what form the sucking will take.

Move south.
Too hard to get a Green Card.
Whaa. Move south.
I'm tired of it too but I won't whine at all...it could be worse, we could be having hurricanes, tornados, tsunami's etc. Thats just a wee bit more frightening to me than the snow.
When Prince Rupert is under water when the polar ice caps melt due to climate change, we'll be number one. Whoopee!! I'll wait.
Yea...seaside property in Vanderhoof....
They have to be warm and sunny up there....no snow or storms.

Remember Al Gore said it was going to be warm every where....
Vanderhoof eh?
