Kinsley's there - is it an open bar?
Thank you Mayor Colin Kinsley for recognizing and supporting this Community and it's important role in our Province and our Country.

I am impressed that this conference is in PG and would like to thank everyone who is responsible for making it happen here.

Please make everyone feel welcome and appreciated for being here. They are here from all across Canada. Let's continue to be the great hosts we have developed a reputation for. Chester
Chester. This Conference has been held in Prince George since the 1950/60's it used to be called the Northern Interior Lumber Assoc. on something like that.

They came from all over, drank a lot of booze, raised hell, and went home with a huge hangover. These days they are somewhat quieter.

The word sustainability was never used in those days, as everone felt the forests would last forever, and perhaps they would have if we had not gotten greedy and gone to clear cutting etc;

We have hoisted ourselves on our own petard, and are now looking for scapegoats.
