Prince George High School Wrestlers Compete at Nationals

    Alex Keehn led the way for the Prince George Wrestling Club at the CAWA
Cadet/Juvenile Nationals in Whitby, Ontario this past weekend. She battled
through an ankle injury to make the podium with a 5th place finish in the
Women's Juvenile 90kg division with a 3 win, 2 loss record.  Other results
were Kevin Gillespie (2 wins, 2 losses), Richard Sai-Appiah (1 win, 2
losses), and Darian Johnson (1 win, 2 losses) in the Men's Juvenile 69kg
division which was the largest division with over 50 competitors.  Ben Dyck
(1win, 2 losses) and Blake Cuthbertson (1 win, 2 losses) competed in the
Men's Juvenile 76kg division.  The juvenile divisions are made up of
wrestlers born in 1989 and 1990.  Cuthbertson, Dyck, Gillespie, and Johnson
all have one more year of competition in this group.
