Active recruitement is underway  to find a replacement for  Northern Helath CEO Malcolm Maxwell.  He is leaving his post  at the end of June to take on a position as head of the Grand River Hospital in Kitchener Ontario.

While the recruitment  efforts continue,  the Northern Health Board has  decided to use its regular meeting time in May to interview  potential replacements.

That means the plans to hold the May session in Vanderhoof have been  cancelled. The Board  will work  to reschedule the Vanderhoof meeting to November.

Yet another professional who can not work under the inflicted budgets given the Health Authorities. Guess now they can add the inability to maintain quality management to the fabrication that public health care is unsustainable. We are all sheep.
Hope he takes his silver hammer with him. Last time I heard that name.
"the Northern Health Board has decided to use its regular meeting time in May to interview potential replacements."

Meeting agendas must be slow ... obviously have little to meet about if they do not send this task to a hiring/evalaution committe.
Better make sure they hire a yes man who will spout Gordo's line. That's why elected boards were done away with.
