Rural Road Projects Outlined

The province has announced it’s sealcoating schedule for the Prince George region.

33.6 kilometres  of rural roads in the area will be sealcoated between June 15th and the end of August

Work is scheduled to begin on June 15 and is expected to be completed in late August.  The contract is worth  $1.4 million

Here are  the roads ( or portions thereof)  which   are on the  to-do list:

The keyword here is "sealcoating"...They will be doing it in in a few years,so if you don't like the job they do this time?Just wait..they will be back soon.

I haven't heard too much about the seal hunt this year.
What about local repairs. All you ever see is one truck and a guy with a shovel (sorry.. 6 guys and one shovel) patting down a bit of loose ashfalt. I realize heavy equipment is hard on the roads as I work in that industry but take Pacific boulevard for instance (on the BCR site) The road at the tracks at Penn and boundary have been filled with that "loose ashfalt" so many time they could have built a freeway there for the cost. Why not fix it and maybe scoop up the dead deer that has been sitting in the ditch since before christmas.
Of course I mean "asphalt"
