Betcha the two men arrested are out and about and walking around Prince George as I type. That'll learn 'em. Betcha.
At least they're walking now.
For a little while.
Right--so who are they and why aren't thier names printed?? What a great justice system huh?? All set up for the criminals, the laywers, and the judges. Oh--I forgot politicians.
supertech has a valid question...why are their names NOT printed? I assume there are some legal reasons for not printing the names? Innocent until proven guilty perhaps?
Just curious, anyone know what is behind this?
Yes, this world is crazy. I'd like to add to that Innocent until proven guilty eventhough we saw you do it.

andyfreeze and supertech......innocent until proven guilty......

Not guilty until proven innocent like in France.
Isn't that kinda like getting caught with your hand in the cookie jar and saying "it wasn't me". Now thats believable...pffft
The men were taken into custody but not yet charged from what I can read above. I believe names cannot be released until they are charged.
Yes owl,you are correct for the most part as far as I can find out.
What is frustrating is 2 guy's in a stolen vehicle with a bunch of keys they shouldn't have....hmmmm, not much chance they are innocent, but I guess we can't assume!!Maybe they were driving the vehicle back to the legalowners?
And criminals need all the breaks they can get, other than the breaks the courts will give them that is!
You cannot print the names of the accused until the information for charges is laid in court, or they have been brought before a justice of the peace. After that time, their names become public information and can be released.
You geniuses remember that innocent people have been put to death, and many more innocent people have been jailed for long periods of time. You're just cheering because it didn't happen to be you.

Not too long ago a young man got shot to death by police because he was "presumed guilty" and "presumed armed and dangerous".

You have no flippin' idea how much abuse there is in the system. No idea at all.
You don't even want to know how easy it is to happen, and happen to you.

Bush didn't think it would happen to him, St. Arnaud didn't think it would happen to him either, Lewis was camping then he was dead.

Innocent Until Proven Guilty is one of the most intrinsic, important principles of our justice system. Paramount to any other concept in law.

Remember that if you can piss on my rights, I can piss on yours too. You don't get to choose who it happens to and who it doesn't.

If you want to know their names so badly, take a trip down to the courthouse and look at the list for bail hearings.

Now get back in your rusty pickup truck and go shoot something for nothing.
My comment was made with Sheremetta in mind but fit here as well.
Reasonableman, who is jumping to conclusions now? Were you present at any of the incidents you mentioned? How do you know what really happened? It appears that you are the one jumping to conclusions without knowing anything. One nitwit post after another.
I know far more than you assume. That's why I have such a detailed knowledge of the law and the justice system, and the inner workings of it, and the people involved.

No, I was not present. Yes, I do know most of the details. My experience and education can fill in the few blanks remaining, because I've been there. I know what happens and how it happens, and why it happens.

It is not so much jumping to conclusions, it is more deductive reasoning.

Lastly, you'll have to use stronger language than that to hurt my feelings. I've been called much worse, including having my life threatened so many times, I've started to miss it.

You want to disagree with my thoughts, go ahead. I disagree with a lot of other people's thoughts too.

But don't claim I don't know anything, because that's simply not true.

I am not only highly educated and trained, but I have also been exposed to experiences and situations that most people only see on TV.

If you spent more time reading the things that I have to say, you might know that. It is there for your benefit and education, not because my fingers and mind have nothing better to do.

So, get out from under the bridge, there's no fish there. Come out into the daylight and look around, you're missing a lot of action.

P.S. It takes one to know one.

;-) Ha ha ha ha !
