Semi Driver Charged After School Bus Clipped

The driver of a transport truck is facing three charges after a school bus was clipped near Vanderhoof.
RCMP say the school bus was stopped at Highway 16 and Barsness Road, east of Vanderhoof this morning, picking up children to take them to school.
The bus had its flashing lights on, but the semi kept going, swerved to the left to pass the bus, and clipped the rear left corner of the school bus.
No one injured, and the students were transferred to another bus.
The driver of the semi is facing three charges:
- failing to stop
- undue care and attention
- following too close
