Pump prices  are jumping  at the 5th and Carney  gas stations.  This morning, gas throughout Prince George was 108.9.  By lunchtime, the price  at this Petro Can and the Shell gas station across the street had  jumped up by 5 cents a litre to 113.9

Up the street on 5th, at noon, the Esso at  5th and the bypass was offering  a litre of  regular for 108.9 but don't expect that to  last long.

I thought something was strange. I went to get gas, and the attendant came out and stuck the nozzle in my @$$ instead of the fuel tank.
lol @ @$$ comment....My kind of humour. kicking myself i didnt filler up on way to bringing kids to school this morning. Really kicking myself for not looking for a house that is close walking distance to everything we need to survive. Too bad the rivers weren't safer we could canoe everywhere but then we'd have to watch out for drunk boaters. Maybe with gas so high the men/women who like to purchase alcohol a little too often won't be able to afford the gas.
A litre of water is 2 bucks. I know I know... dont worry I'm not thrilled by the fuel prices either
Considering the price of crude went down and has been pretty steady as of late...

I think we are getting it again where it hurts...
but what do you do...transit is pretty much useless for some of us in any event...
Hey! How about a revolution!
hey get ready about to go to 1.25 people......
SCAM!!.. and is it a coincidence that Petro Canada always seems to be one of the earliest to get the price up? And their buddy Shell? Avoid both of them.
The price of crude HAS gone down and it HAS been very steady. So what justifies this?
Go after the politicians. They are as guilty as the oil companies. Is it not their elected duty to protect the consumer from this kind of crap?
And just wait.By mid summer, the prices will be off the chart!
This is out of control!
Too funny thereasonableman...hahaha!
And hey Heidi, if they can't afford the gas they won't be drinking and driving...hey!! Yep, the price of gas is absolutely dreadful, I guess only the politicians will beable to afford the fishing trips this year..pffffft!
diesel prices also???
More like hunting trips....that's what it feels like anyway. Good thing my purse is used to be empty.
being* empty...use to be empty and still is ;)
well if someone has a plan that will get some action I am all for it...
no boycotting stations does not work in Canada.... why... the oil companies don't own the gas dtations it is a franchise so the only people who suffer are the owners of the station, who have no control of the prices....
"Mechanics say one of the best ways to combat high gas prices this summer is to make your car as efficient as possible.

Charlie Graham Body and Service owner Jim Champion said he recommends that customers change their air filter at least once a year. He said a clogged filter can cause fuel economy to suffer drastically."
