Police Follow Leads on Van

Prince George RCMP  say they  have received several leads in their investigtion of a suspicious van.  (see earlier story).

Poilice had issued a call for the public’s assistance in locating an older,  light blue van that is believed to be linked to  as many as four  cases where young girls were approached, or  followed.

Police say they have  more than a dozen  tips that are being followed and they  wanted to say thank you to all who have  been in contact with them. 

The van is described as older, light blue with  three windows on one side, at least one of the windows is tinted.  The van has bucket seats and may have a blanket in the back..

The two suspects  are described as :

Driver:  about 60 year old, caucasian, 5’6" - 5’8’, overweight,  bald , has glasses, blue eyes, no facial hair. Gruff voice, possibly an accent

Passenger:  about 40 years old, caucasian, 5’8" - 5’10" heavier build, no facial hair,  black clothes and a black touque.
