Moore's Meadow Off Limits

Forget about  taking the dog for  a walk through Moore's Meadow in Prince George this weekend.

The parking lot off Foothills Boulevard is closed, and the  trails on the west side of the park are off limits.  Crews are  working in the area to remove  trees killed by the  mountain pine beetle.

The logging  will  carry on through  next  Friday, and the park  is expected to re-open on  Saturday the 12th.  City crews say the park will be the focus of work over the next several months.
