The CNC students say they are enthusiastic with the selection of John Bowman as the President of the College of New Caledonia.
Bowman’s appointment came after a six month Canada wide search.
Before joining the College of New Caledonia, Bowman had been employed by Kwantien University College in Surrey for seven years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba.
He has been employed at CNC for the past nine years having served previously as Regional Director at Quesnel Campus from 1998 to 2004.
Recently, Students and the College Administration have been working to improve the relationship between the two bodies and the CNC Students Union is pleased with the results so far.
