Nice touch - "non caucasion" In politically correct terms I assume that means non white, or am I allowed to state it that way. How about non catholic, non Lieberal, non retiree, non American, non bus rider, etc. Let's get real and call it what it is. If the suspect was east Indian or Native, just say so. No big deal.
I have been noticing these kinds of descriptions, and I must say that Ben and Elaine do identify people from all groups over time. I suspect that the expression "non-Caucasian" is how it was reported. Perhaps those who saw the young male could not positively identify the group to which he belongs other than not being obviously of European ancestry.
The public would be better able to assist the RCMP in these matters if all of the stores in this city had some kind of a video surveillance system, and if some kind of a system was set up where videos (and still pictures) of armed robberies were published in local newspapers, run on local t.v newscasts, and posted on local web sites.

I truly feel sorry for the poor folks who work in these types of places for minimum, and next to minimum wages. Our governments really have let them down by letting our justice system deteriorate to the point where it is now.
Charles says "..I truly feel sorry for the poor folks who work in these types of places for minimum, and next to minimum wages..."

So if these clerks were making $30/hr Charlie would have no problem with the clerks being held up with a frekin' knife? Yo weird man.
Big difference between $8.00 per hour and $30.00. I'd take the till and my chances for that kind of money.
Check out the transition/halfway houses....could be they have some newbies in there who have no money and did an AR to score some quick money
"I'd take the till and my chances for that kind of money."

Hey! If you're working there you are not supposed to take the till! That would be like robbing yourself?
Holy crap, I saw four dozen guys today, who match the description. Which one do I grab ?
