Is the gov't building something bigger than the Olympics over on the east and need more money ?
Or is this just to pay for our Olympics, doctors, gov't raises, should I go on.
I guess the more you make the more you spend
Or
the more you make the more people want
Or
the more people want the more you need to make

Notice how Big Government and Big Oil look the same in that cartoon. They even wear the same tie....
Something to be said about dedicated taxes, but obviously the electorate hasn't caught onto that concept yet, and the politicians take full advantage of this under the cover of their shadow government of lobbyists and election financiers.

I don't think this is really the government but rather the greed of the oil companies.
Yes the government gets there percentage in taxes, both federal and provincial.
I still think it is an oil companies rip off if you want to use that term.
Why the government doesn't step in and slap some wrists I have no idea really....cowards maybe????
The unfortunate thing is there is little we the little guy can do but pay up. We can't even use the transit system, or a lot of us can't.
If someone has a legal idea on how to fight this let me know and I for one will be right there....
no boycotting in Canada doesn't work... the oil companies don't own the stations, they just dictate the prices.
