Collision on Highway 97

Prince George RCMP  have  just re-opened highway 97 southbound  at Frontage Road  but continue to investigate  a serious accident at Houghtaling Road.

The jaws of life had to be used to free a  woman from one of the vehicles. She has  since been taken to hospital, her condition is not immediately known.

There are still few details  on the crash which happened  around 11:30 this morning.

Police say  a Dodge truck and Toyota truck were  involved  in the crash,. Police have not yet said how many people were in each vehicle.
