Kitimat Hospital Welcomes Visitors

 Kitimat Hospital is once again welcoming visitors, now that the bout of gastrointestinal illness  is over.

The hospital had initiated  measures that included  visiting restrictions, and  stepped up infection  prevention measures after a dozen people, (staff and patients)  developed  Norwalk Virus type symptoms.

Northern Health says there have been no new cases for  48 hours, so   things  are returning to normal.
