There  is  a proposal for a new multi family  riverside development in Prince George.

The project would be on the north bank of the Nechako River, between the Del Haven Condominiums, and Howie’s Marine.

The rezoning application  would have the 1.76 acre (.712 ha)  site developed for a maximum of 21 units, the project  would be  a maximum 2.5 storeys high.

The  development would  have to address matters of  flood plain and  riparian habitat protection.

A public hearing on the project  has yet to be set.

Now that sounds like it could have lots of potential. All units south facing, towards the river. Addressing the flood plain would be no big deal. Many possible solutions there. Hopefully there will be a bit more imagination given to that than the 7th avenue units.

This could be the one to set a "new standard" for condo living in PG.
River fog and pulp mill smog. Doesn't seem to have much to offer.
The mills will be gone soon.
And traffic noise from the bridge. No thanks. It would be like (shudder) living in Vancouver.
