'Yup, May Was a Cool One

May was  cooler  and  wetter than normal, says Jim Steele of Envornment Canada.   In fact, on the 7th  & 8th  there was  27.4 mm of rain, more than half the normal amount for the entire month.

Jim Steele says  the last 10 days of the month brought a drying trend with no measurable precipitation beyond the 21st. Conditions were more summer like by the end of the month with afternoon readings into the mid twenties.
In the end, temperatures for the month were pretty close to normal even with all the ups and downs experienced.
