Stabbing in The Downtown

A man, who walked into a bar in the down town with a serious stab wound to his chest, remains in hospital today.

His identity is not known.

The man walked into the Croft Hotel shortly after 10.15 p.m. bleeding from the chest. A patron and a staff member administered first aid until police and the paramedics arrived.

He had received a punctured lung and other related injuries. The stabbing is believed associated with the drug trade. Police have taken two males into custody in connection with the incident.

Was not drug related....Victim was trying to protect his girlfriend from the Picke.. Family members.... Who were trying to cut her wrist.......CHECK POLICE REPORT......NOT DRUG Related
