Serious Accident Closes Kenny Dam Road

A single vehicle motor vehicle accident has had the Kenny Dam Road closed since 5am this morning. 
The lone male occupant of the vehicle is in hospital with life-threatening injuries. 
After crashing, the vehicle’s engine ignited. 
RCMP members managed to remove the injured driver from the burning vehicle.  The Vanderhoof Fire Department attended the accident scene to put out the fire. 
The road is expected to remain closed until late this afternoon.

Kudos to the police for pulling the driver from a burning vehicle.The regulars who post their usual simple minded drivel about the perceived "Bad mounties" are probably upset about a positive post on the actions of the police. I'm sure they'll try and think of a way to blame the cops for this MVA.
