Can You Count Them?

Yes, that is a mother black bear and her cubs making their way through the brush at the side of Highway 16, east of Purden Lake.

And, yes, she must be busy... There are three of them!

The mother is cinnamon-coloured and each cub is its own distinct shade, as well.

The foursome was foraging for dinner along the roadside.

This curious little one stood up to get a better view of the ’unannounced guests’ who arrived during the supper hour.

A short while later, though, mom convinced everyone it was time to move back into the bushes.

You into killing beautiful babies YamaDooPolCat? It appears that Joe Six Pack is alive and well in Prince George. Most people would look at those pictures and get a warm feeling at the beautiful display of nature. These bears are not in anyone's garbage or displaying negative behaviours but you still want to destroy them.

....they are very good with a little applesauce and walnut sauce and a nice dry white wine....:-))
