Here is the latest information on the flood situation in Prince George and Terrace:
RIVER LEVELS
Fraser at South Ft George 9.802 @ 8:00 a.m.
Skeena at Usk 13.413 @ 8:00a..m.
FORECAST
Over the past 12 hours a system has produced light rains and showers over the Interior with 8-10mm in the Bulkley Valley, 4-10mm in the Cariboo, and 5-10mm in the Columbia area. The Upper Fraser (Prince George, McBride, Quesnel), Skeena (Terrace) and North Thompson (Kamloops, Blue River) received 1-3mm.
The system currently over the Bulkley Valley and lakes area from Burns Lake to Hazelton will produce another 5-10mm today, before moving eastward this afternoon. Freezing levels near Prince George and Williams Lake will drop from 10,000 ft to 8,000 ft this afternoon.
Temperatures remain at or below seasonal norms. The next system is forecast to move onto the south coast Saturday with 20-30mm of rain for the Lower Mainland; no other significant rainfall is forecast.
