Montage Jewellery opens today for the second time in as many months in its new location inside the Via Rail building on 1st Avenue.

Originally located on Quebec Street, fire damage forced Montage to relocate after being open only one week.

"Business was already taking off when the fire hit," said Becky Harris, owner. She also added that the building was not insured. "It was on the list of things to do."

With little able to be salvaged from the Quebec Street store, Harris and co-cowner Laura Ferguson are still recovering from the over $75,000 lost in property damage and mechandise. The pair remain optimistic, though. "We just hope our customers will know where to find us."

Specializing in hadmade Swarovski crystal jewellery, including bracelets, necklaces and purses, Montage welcomes custom orders and can create matching jewellery for wedding parties or graduation.
