Accused in Kalmolkoff Death Back in Court by End of the Month

It will be another ten days before Vernon Kyle Wilson makes his next court appearance,

He is the young man who initially entered a plea of guilty in the death of Candace Marie Kalmokoff. Her body was discovered New Years Day 2006, in the laneway behind a Prince George real estate office.

Earlier this year, Wilson changed Counsel, and an application was filed to have the guilty plea withdrawn.

Supreme Court Justice Eric Chamberlist has denied the request, although his reasons for that decision will not be made public until Wilson decides if he will appeal the ruling. He has 30 days to file such an appeal.
