Logging Truck Driver's Death Subject of Inquest

The Coroner's inquest into the death  of "Frank" Joseph Jules François Leroux  gets underway in Prince George today.

It  was March 20th  of last year when  Frank's  logging truck left the Finlay-Philip Forest Service Road near Mackenzie.

The inquest is scheduled  to run through to the 29th of  this month.

Presiding Coroner Tom Pawlowski and a five-person jury will publicly hear evidence from subpoenaed witnesses in order to determine the facts surrounding the death. The jury will have the opportunity to make recommendations aimed at preventing deaths under similar circumstances in the future.

The inquest gets underway at 9:30 this morning in Supreme Court at the corner of 3rd and George
