Members of the Prince George RCMP Drug Section came up with crack cocaine and cash during a house raid in the city this evening.

Police say several people inside the residence in the 1200 block of 20th Avenue were arrested during the execution of the search warrant which occurred around 8pm.

While not giving out specifics, RCMP say the house is believed to be linked to the city’s newest gang, the "Independent Soldiers".  One male young offender and an adult male are now facing drug trafficking charges.

Also this evening, a member of the Police Dog Section stopped a vehicle operated by a well-known drug trafficker and discovered a substantial quantity of crystal meth, cocaine, ecstasy and cash.  An assortment of charges are pending.

Sure hope this didn't mess up their weekend!
I bet they are back on street already.
What they do to our youth is beyond comprehension. These people are dispicable and our system is far too lenient on them. They should be charged with pre-meditated or attempted murder, every single one of them. The makers, the dealers, and especially the "leaders".
Having seen first hand how a person's life can be devastated by dope,I have no use for the dealers.
As far as I am concerned, they are no better than murderers and should be treated that way.
They are like vultures.
They are criminals of the worst kind and feed on the misfortunes of others who cannot help themselves.
Our government and a host of softhearted do-gooders in our justice system seem to think these losers can be helped but, it rarely ever happens.
Leopards seldom change their spots.
About the only way to get that message out is to hit them and hit them hard!
Big jailtime is the only deterent and as I have said many times and will continue to say, if there is not enough room in our prisons, build more!!
Hopefully before our society and our values decline even more that they seem to have already.
It is a mystery why our courts and judges are so leinient!
The revolving door has to stop!!

They don't have to worry about Jail. They can put their names down for a suite in the new Friendship Lodge on Qeensway a few blocks away. Their clients will be right next door.
Drug Dealers are terrorists. They kidnap the sober person and they are held ransom for their next fix, which they will steal, maime and kill for. Often the best way to handle a terrorist/kidnapper is to "shoot the hostage"! In many cases this is also the best way to get the hostage into recovery and healed.
Unfortunately Bitter, you may very well be right on the Friendship Center!
So far,I have met very few people who think it won't turn out to be mess down the road....
And I have made a point of asking a lot of people about what they think.I wonder what ever happened to democracy?
But the drug dealer issues just go round and round and will continue to do so until SOMEBODY in a position of power grows a pair of b***'s.
I think it is almost too late for things to change now.
It's become an accepted part of our culture sadly.
Democracy is two wolves and one sheep deciding what is for dinner. Doncha know?
hahaha!...good point Harbinger!
