The BC Teacher’s Federation has elected a new President.
Irene Lanzinger picked up 63% of the vote over Francis Zeni.
There were 658 voting delegates at the 91st AGM and convention for the BCTF in Vancouver.
Lanzinger will take over the post being vacated by Jinny Sims, who, after three years in the post, decided not to run again this year.
Susan Lambert was elected first vice president and Jim Eiker of Burns Lake was elected as 2nd Vice President
