The Bridge crossing the Nechako River on the Holy Cross Road which follows the west side of the Nechako River to Kenny Dam has been closed.

Bill Thibeault, Regional Manager with the Ministry of Forests said today that , "we closed the road as a precaution" . The road is open on both sides of the bridge to the Kenny Dam and south to highway 16.

Water impacting the bridge is the reason we have closed the bridge Thibeault said, the bridge is  not in  danger we simply closed it as a precaution.
