The Prince George Cougars traded forward Chris Durand to the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for a 3rd Round Bantam selection in 2008.

"Unfortunately we can only hold so many spots for overage players. This now allows  Chris to play his 20 year old season in his hometown of Saskatoon, where he will be close to friends and family," said Cougars GM, Dallas Thompson.

The Cougars Kalvin Sagert, Real Cyr, Greg Gardner, Richard Rapac and Nick Drazenovic ( if not assigned to minor-pro) are vying for the three available 20-year-old positions on the Cats.
