17 Year Old Remanded In Ft. ST. John Fire Case

A 17  year old  has been remanded in custody until next week on charges in connection with a fire in Ft St John, June 19th that caused an estimated $10 million dollars in damage.

The teen, who cannot be identified,  is charged in connection with the fire that destroyed the Nova Star Inn and Suites, the Esta Villa Motel, and several businesses on Sikanni Road.

The damaged businesses include: Guillevin International, Ivanhoe, HM Power, Above and Beyond Compression, Alpine Disposal, Prime Pump Industries and Fort St John Auto Clean.

The 17 year old  Fort St. John resident is charged with Mischief Endangering Human Life
