Cougars Pick Swede in Import Draft

With the 28^th pick in the 2007 CHL Import Draft, the Prince George Cougars have selected LD Patrik Magnusson (‘88) of Sweden.

Magnusson, a 6’7”, 240 lbs. product of Jonkoping, Sweden, suited up in 41 games with HV 71’s Junior Team of the Swedish Superelit League in 2006/2007 recording 7 goals, 12 assists, 19 points, 91 PIM, and a +30 rating.

Magnusson also saw action in 4 playoff games with HV 71, registering 1 goal and 1 assist.
