Wow, I know three of them...way to go all of you....
Did someone forget about Cliff Dezell? I thought he was nominated as well.

Looking at the list, I tend to favour those who have not worked in the area of community service for monetary compensation.

That is not to say that they should not be appreciated for their dedication in their vocation. Often the "professional" organizations they work for will give them recognition in a sytem of their peers who work in the same area.

I know that in one of my positions I had the luxury, but also had to meet the expectation of the position, of participating on several volunteer committees and Boards in the community.
BTW, does anyone feel that the nominating group missed a deserving individual? I know many are too humble and too private and will not accept the nomination.
I know at least one on that list should not be there, but what the heck, it is the kind of thing that is meaningless to most of us anyway. Those that want recognition, well let them have it, who cares. If they are doing the Mother Teresa thing for the recognition, well, give it to them, because that's what they are doing it for.

We should also have a recognizing award for recognition as well. Give one to everybody that wants one.
Yikes!
Must have slipped over to grab a hot dog when Cliff's name was announced. So sorry, You will see his name and details have been added.
My sincere apologies for the oversight!
Congratulations to all nominees.
