P.G. RCMP Look for Female Suspect in Stabbing

A Prince George man is in hospital this morning recovering from a stab wound to the neck.

Prince George RCMP say they were called to an apartment in the 1800 block of Rrdwood Street just before 6 last night . They found the victim who had been stabbed on the left side of his neck.

The victim says he knows the suspect, and although the Police brought in two tracking dogs, the high volume of foot traffic in the area made it impossible for the dogs to stay on the trail.

The victim is now in stable and good condition after having undergone surgery. Police say this was not a random attack, the assailant and victim were acquantances, and police continue to look for the female suspect.
