Heidi Snow was only 14 years old when a tragic event left her quadriplegic and claimed the use of her voice. Now 27, Heidi and Ontrac Independent Living Society of Prince George are looking for the public's help to get her voice back.

An account has been set up at Integris Credit Union for donations to help purchase Heidi a computer system which will allow her to speak again. The "EyeGaze Communication System", which will cost roughly $30,000 to purchase and set to Heidi's specifications, is a communication and control system for people with complex physical disabilities. By looking at control keys on a computer screen, Heidi will be able to talk and type, which she has not been able to do since she became disabled.

For more information, or to donate, please contact Trudi at (250) 563-2402, or visit Integris Credit Union
