PG Man Charged in Takla Lake Shooting

A Prince George man has been charged in connection with a shooting in which a 25 year old Prince George man was shot through the neck and had a portion of his left hand blown off by a rifle bullet as he drove down the road south of Takla Lake.
Frank Thompson is charged with dangerous use of a firearm.
Police say they are investigating further and have no comment at this time as to whether any additional charges will be laid.
According to police, Leonard Prince, Thompson, Douglas Dalton Neal , and Neal’s female companion were all heading to Takla Lake when the incident occurred June 30th.
No reason has been advanced for the shooting.
The bullet passed through the rear of a ’92 super cab, through Neal’s left shoulder and then ripped off a portion of his left hand before it exited through the windshield.
