If you have any cans of  Great Value Brand  Original Chili with Beans, or Great Value Brand Hot Chili with Beans, purchased at a Wal- Mart store,  get rid of it.

The   Canadian Food Inspection Agency   says there is a concern about  possible botulism contamination.

The recall involves product sold in 425 gram cans exclusively at Wal-Mart stores across Canada.

In the U.S., four cases of botulism poisoning have been associated with certain chili products.  So far, there have been  no cases of botulism poisoning reported in Canada.

Although the  contents of the can may look or smell fine,  there is no guarantee it has not  spoiled.  If you  have  such  a product,   you are advised to  return it to point of purchase, or  throw it in the garbage.
