I was thinking and so it states on the PGX website, that it opens at 10:00 am?

Its those farmers ..... unless it starts early, it just is not a farming activity. 8am is quite late... 10am is time for the first nap .....

I was there today and was even more disappointed than last year. I will not attend again. If it wasn't for the Council of Seniors exhibits and shows in Kin 3, it would have been a complete loss. Big city admission prices and small town fair. 10 or 15 years ago they used to have rodeo, chuckwagon races and big name entertainment. I can recall seeing Roger Miller and The Mamas and Papas in Kin 1 during the Ex. Like everything else I guess that the all mighty buck is the bottom line. The 4H and animal displays were even smaller this year. Like I said, I was very disappointed
It the changing times, people do not do the same things to-day that they did years ago. All the old organisations are dying off. The Moose, Elks, Eagles, Legion, etc; etc; Their memberships are down and their average ages are probably in the 60's.
The same thing applies to volunteer groups. They are finding it harder and harder to get volunteers.

People to-day like to watch TV, phone and send messages to each other on their silly phones, and generally do nothing. Some like to go to the Casino and gamble rather that attend a fair. So it is all changing and in my opinion not for the best.
