The Service Canada Centre for Youth is wrapping up operations for the summer with a “Write Your Own Success Story” workshop on Monday, Aug. 13. The event is geared to teach youth and students how to take experience from summer work to use towards future career goals.

The Service Canada Centre for Youth links youth and employers as well as providing information on Government programs to help with employment needs. The Centre for Youth closes for the season on Friday, Aug. 17.

All students and youth are invited to attend the workshop this Monday, which will be held at the Service Canada building on 4th Ave from 2-3:30pm. “Basically,” says Centre for Youth officer Vivian Houg, “The workshop will give anyone who found employment this summer to walk away with experience on their resume.”

For more information about the “Write Your Own Success Story” workshop, please contact Vivian Houg or Steven Shoval at 561-5200, extension  353 (Vivian) or 425 (Steven).
