Supsected Would-Be Theif Apprehended

The search for a local would-be thief ended today as Prince George RCMP were able to identify and apprehend a female suspect who is accused of attempting to make off with an elderly woman’s belongings late Thursday. The suspect is question, who is known to local RCMP, was identified by fingerprints found at the 89 year old victim’s house in the 500 block of Carney Street.

The theif was described by the senior as about 40 years old, native, 5’3 “ medium builds, shoulder length  black hair,  wearing a black zip up sweater  and jeans. The woman attempted to steal items from the elder’s home after being allowed inside to use the washroom. According to the police, the senior became suspicious of the woman and found her bagging up valuables in a bedroom. The theif attempted to flee the scene with the items, but was foiled by the elderly woman, who with the help of two bystanders was able to reclaim the pilfered goods, although the would-be thief escaped.

More details on the suspect’s apprehension, as well as charges to be laid, will be made as they become available.

A conviction before a judge saying, "Guilty!" That is why the item is titled "SUSPECTED Would-Be Thief Apprehended".
That comment about the 2010 Olympics is probably not far from the truth. That concerns me.
